Eximius CS Returns to Iniquity
Posted by Michael Dick on April 25th, 2008 | Comments (0)

After getting a interview with Broodex of the Eximius Sports Counter-Strike 1.6 squad, the group had a falling out last night. Two members were offered a spot on Guardians United, they said they were interested in the offer and the other members of Eximius Sports found out. Kyle Holloway and Aaron Armijo both had the offer. When Icy, Momper, and Broodex found out, they just detagged and left Eximius Sports. Apparently their reason for leaving Eximius Sports was because the only reason they came was because Kyle and Aaron wanted to.

The roster now is playing with Team Iniquity once again, Aaron Armijo said that he really wanted to stay and play with the guys on Iniquity ...(read full article >)

Eximius GM Now Chicago Chimera AGM
Posted by Michael Dick on April 23rd, 2008 | Comments (0)

Eximius Sports staff sat down with Brad Dick the GM of Eximius Sports about his new role with the Chicago Chimera. Brad has been added on to assist the General Manager of Chicago Chimera, Brian Flander.

Staff: Brad, what made you spark interest in taking a position like this?

Brad Dick: Well I have always enjoyed eSports a whole from the moment I started playing about nine years ago. I just felt that if CGS is not going to open up any new franchises for a while, I might as help out with one of them. I am just really excited to be with a great GM like Brian and to work with a great franchise like Chimera.

Staff: Do you feel that Chimera h...(read full article >)

TF2 Team Interviewed During Off-Season
Posted by Michael Dick on April 16th, 2008 | Comments (0)

Redo on CEVO-P:

Everyone needs to go back to CEVO-a. With CEVO-P having so much trouble keeping teams, there’s no reason for them to even have a CEVO-P division. Although not all the teams in CEVO-a would not be at the same caliber, unless they get more teams, it’s impossible to split the divisions. Unless you plan to play very few matches and have a small playoff season, a redo is upon us. I know many teams would rather play more matches and win than playing 5 matches, and if you lose 1 you might not make it to the 3 team playoff bracket. As TF2 grows, they will get more and more teams and be able to have the split division.

The Teams:

Eximius CS:S Dies After CEVO-P PT
Posted by Michael Dick on April 16th, 2008 | Comments (0)

The Eximius Sports Counter-Strike Source team has had it rough since the CGS Combine. They have been looking for good players to fill the last two spots. They first decided to go with Shaffer and MaNtiK, however that fell through with work schedule indiferences. Then they decided to finalize their roster with DeL and BaGGs. Both were committed and did aver ygood job while in Eximius Sports. However, the lack of chemistry did them under. When asking GM Brad Dick about the chemistry he had to say,

I knew we were going to have a tough time when Shaffer and Mantik could not commit their time. I really was hoping these guys would make it into CEVO-P, but I knew it would be to...(read full article >)

Eximius Wins 3rd Match in KoTH; Broodex Interviewed
Posted by Brad Dick on April 16th, 2008 | Comments (0)

Brad Dick: It has been tough to stay on top in this KoTH challenge, how does your team manage to stay there?

Broodex: We're just doing the best we can to stay motivated ingame. It's easy to allow human nature to take control after winning for a few weeks in a row and let your opponent get the upper hand, but I think we've done a good job in letting no one get any real momentum in the past three weeks.

Brad Dick: This lineup is fairly new, what developed the quick chemistry?

Broodex: Momper, icy and I had been playing together for a bit before kth and deacon joined so we had some chemistry there, and we knew the two recruits style of p...(read full article >)

Eximius Sports Defeats EG.CA!
Posted by Brad Dick on April 8th, 2008 | Comments (0)

Inverview done by Jonny "wicK" with Deacon

How are you doing since you joined Eximius?

We are doing well. We just won the KOTH XI against EG.canada and we have won the last few matches of the CEVO-P.

How did the KOTH match go?

We played very sloppy and our pistol rounds were awful. On nuke, we lost a few eco's and a couple 3v1s and lost the match in overtime. We played very strong on dust2, especially on our CT side. We were up 10-0 at one point. We won that match pretty easily. On inferno, our CT was pretty bad but we still managed to win 16-13.

How does the rest of the season look?

We've played pretty decent but honestly I thi...(read full article >)

March 30, 2008 Eximius Sports is happy to announce two new additions to our Counter-Strike Source squad. We have gone through countless interviews and many applications. After finishing most of the interviews, we realize that there are a lot of players that are worthy of playing at the professional level. We concluded that if the Championship Gaming Series was to expand in North America, they will not be disappointed in the upcoming talent.

Eximius Sports opened up interviews and tryouts for the first time ever. We were shocked on the number of applications that were turned in. When asking Eximius Sports GM Brad Dick about the number of entries he said,
